Job summary
The New Product Introduction (NPI) Technician will report to the NPI Supervisor and be responsible for performing NPI Builds, line trials, and maintaining the NPI area.The role involves executing against provided manufacturing instructions, validating work, checking quality of previous operations, mentoring production associates, leading builds in a defined area and meeting schedules.
A high level of craftsmanship and attention to detail is required along with the ability to work quickly. Basic machine shop skills are desired with welding skills a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Perform complex electro-mechanical assembly work independently
- Work fluidly with team members to achieve great results
- Troubleshoot and rework items requiring sufficient understanding of functional operation
