    Job Overview:

    We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Residential HVAC Technician to join our team. As a Residential HVAC Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining, and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems in residential properties. Your expertise in diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issues will ensure the comfort and satisfaction of our residential customers. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a customer-focused approach, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Responsibilities:

    • Repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems, including heating, ventilation, and air conditioning units, furnaces, heat pumps, air handlers, thermostats, and related components.
    • Conduct system inspections to assess performance, identify issues, and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance system efficiency and functionality.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system problems, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration components, using specialized tools and equipment.
    • Repair or replace defective parts or components, such as compressors, motors, fans, valves, filters, and coils, to restore system functionality.
    • Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including cleaning, lubricating, and adjusting HVAC systems, replacing filters, and checking for leaks or malfunctions.
    • Collaborate with customers to understand their HVAC needs and provide professional advice and recommendations for system upgrades, replacements, or repairs.
    • Maintain accurate records of service calls, including documenting all work performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
    • Adhere to safety regulations and company policies, ensuring the use of appropriate safety equipment and following established procedures.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in residential HVAC systems through ongoing training and professional development.

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a technical or trade school program in HVAC systems preferred.
    • Valid HVAC technician license – B, D or S license.
    • Proven experience as a Residential HVAC Technician, with a strong understanding of residential HVAC systems and components.
    • Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC equipment, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
    • Knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and industry standards related to HVAC installation, maintenance, and repair in residential settings.
    • Familiarity with various HVAC controls and thermostats.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions.
    • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to homeowners.
    • Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces.
    • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
