    Job Duties and Responsibilities

As a leader, the Distribution Manager is responsible for the overall success of the shipping center by directing employee activity to achieve performance goals.     As a Distribution Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing shipping operations while leading, mentoring, as well as acting as and directing inventory specialists.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Directing employee activity to achieve performance goals for the location

    Building a high-performance work team to deliver an advanced level of quality and service in all daily activities

    Working in conjunction with senior leadership and utilizing financial data to drive performance improvements

    Creating excitement and engaging all employees in new business opportunities and strategies

    Generating programs and practices that deliver a high level of customer satisfaction

    Creating, fostering, and maintaining strategic business relationships within the market, region, and company

    Stores and distributes supplies and equipment and maintains inventory and stock records

    Ability to use multiple applications such as Order Management, Argo, and UPS Worldship to research and complete tasks

    Complete and distribute Backorder report

    Upgrade/Transfer orders

    Process Inventory Ordering Tool request as needed

    Talking with Freight Carriers and Brokers

    Working with Scrap Vendors (Processing all Scrap Paperwork, talking with Scrap vendors)

    Creating Load sheets, Commercial Invoices, Inter-org Transfer Forms

    Pallet Reconciliation and other duties within MNET

    Working with Planners and Buyers to get product received in a timely manner

    Unloading and Fulfillment of Returns

    Complete Oracle transactions to include AAR, AAI, Subinventory transfers, In transit Shipments and IRISO orders and PO Receipt

    Receive returned equipment, new inventory and vendor shipments, stocks the inventory in the warehouse, and prepares shipments for return to the remanufacturing department and records distributed hardware information in the computer tracking system

    Assist with all inventory replenishment reports and inventory related communications with other departments.

    Safely operate a forklift and pallet jacks as needed

    Skills, Experience and Requirements

    Education and Experience:

    A bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university is strongly preferred and 2 years of management experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

    Skills and Qualifications:

    Flexibility, innovation, and the ability to manage staff, responsibilities, and priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, and time-critical environment

    Ability to effectively respond to and interact with staff at all levels of the organization

    Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, and written/oral communication skills

    Willingness to work flexible schedules including weekends, holidays, and evenings

    The employees work may require prolonged standing, walking, and performing tasks that require manual dexterity and repetitive motion

    Physical ability to lift and carry and/or push/pull moderately heavy objects up to 50 lbs

    Safely transport materials, finished products, or equipment using proper lifting techniques

    Perform tasks that require bending, stooping, or reaching to access materials, equipment, or workstations

    Assemble and disassemble components using hand tools and equipment

    The employee must have the ability to use a computer mouse, keyboard, telephone, and other equipment

    This Distribution Management role is a very hands-on working role. It requires a leader who leads by example and is proactive as well as strategic. The success of the Distribution Manager is based on the performance of their team so it is essential that you have the confidence and ability to effectively coach, train, and develop team members.     Salary Ranges

    Compensation: $72,350.00/Year - $78,000.00/Year

    The base pay range shown is a guideline. Individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level and competencies; compensation is based on the role's location and is subject to change based on work location. Candidates need to successfully complete a pre-employment screen, which may include a drug test and DMV check.
