- Conduct comprehensive psycho-educational assessments to identify students' strengths and areas of need.
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a wide range of emotional and behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement effective intervention strategies.
- Assist in the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to review student progress and make appropriate recommendations.
- Provide crisis intervention and support during challenging situations.
- Offer consultation and guidance to parents and teachers regarding effective strategies for promoting student success.
- Stay current with best practices, research, and legislation related to school psychology.
- Master's or doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
- Valid state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain licensure in Illinois).
- Proven experience working as a School Psychologist in an educational setting (preferred).
- Strong knowledge of assessment tools, techniques, and interpretation.
- Proficient in conducting psycho-educational evaluations and writing comprehensive reports.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement evidence-based interventions.
- Knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in students' lives.
