    Genesis10 is currently seeking a Data Management
    • Data Analyst Intermediate Consultant with our client in the financial industry located in Richmond, VA.
    This is a 12 + month contract position.


    Responsibilities:
    Communicate with stakeholders to understand data content and business requirementsBuild well-managed data solutions, tools, and capabilities to enable self-service frameworks for data consumersPartner with the business to provide consultancy and translate the business needs to design and develop tools, techniques, metrics, and dashboards for insights and data visualizationTroubleshoot, debug, maintain and improve existing reporting solutionsDemonstrate ability to explore and quickly grasp new technologies to progress varied initiativesDrive analysis that provides meaningful insights on business strategiesDrive an understanding and adherence to the principles of data quality management including metadata, lineage, and business definitionsBuild and execute tools to monitor and report on data qualityRequirements:Experience working in AWS environment (S3, Snowflake, EC2, APIs)

    Skilled in coding languages (Python, SQL, Spark)Ability to thrive in a fast paced, evolving work environment Experience with BI tools like Tableau, QuicksightExperience building and executing tools to monitor and report on data qualityExcellent communication skills (written and verbal)Having a sense of ownership and craftsmanship around the code baseOpen to learning about new technologies and sharing your knowledge with othersDesired skills:

    Experience working with Agile development methodologiesOnly candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
