    POSITION SUMMARY:

    We are seeking a highly skilled Biologist with expertise in various blotting techniques, gel electrophoresis, high-throughput screening assays, flow cytometry, and physical chemical analysis to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will hold a Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline, with at least three years of related experience, or a BS/MS with more extensive experience. This role involves developing innovative high-throughput analytical procedures, conducting comprehensive analysis using techniques such as UPLC, GXII, CGE, mass spectrometry, and contributing to scientific publications. The successful candidate will be expected to conduct projects within their area of expertise, making significant observations, analyzing data, interpreting results, and developing solutions to problems. This position offers the opportunity to present findings at internal meetings, contribute to manuscript and patent application preparation, and apply standard principles, theories, and techniques within a specific scientific field.

    TASKS. The contractor shall:

    • Perform advanced blotting techniques and gel electrophoresis procedures.
    • Develop high-throughput epitope-screening and characterization assays.
    • Execute flow cytometry techniques and analysis, as well as immunological assays like ELISA.
    • Develop fast high-throughput residual DNA analytical procedures using automation.
    • Perform physical chemical analysis, including chromatography analysis and mass spectrometry.
    • Conduct or participate in research projects, making observations, analyzing data, and interpreting results.
    • Contribute to the preparation of scientific manuscripts and patent applications.
    • Present findings at internal meetings and maintain appropriate documentation.

    REQUIREMENTS. The contractor must have:

    • Ph.D. in Biochemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or a related discipline, or BS/MS with significant experience.
    • Minimum of three years of related experience in vaccine research.
    • Proficiency in blotting techniques, gel electrophoresis, high-throughput screening assays, and flow cytometry.
    • Experience with physical chemical analysis methods like UPLC, GXII, CGE, and mass spectrometry.
    • Ability to analyze data, interpret results, and develop solutions within the scope of the project.
    • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present findings and contribute to scientific publications.
    • Familiarity with standard scientific principles, theories, concepts, and techniques.
