- Developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients in the mining sector
- Identifying and locating new clients through networking and cold calls
- Implementing sales strategies in mining regions across North America
- Matching Skyline to the needs of clients by applying knowledge of the field
- Providing information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid information to clients
- Negotiating prices and/or service agreements, preparing contracts and submitting orders
- Collaborating with other staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing orders
- Resolving customer complaints and any other issues that may interfere with sales operations
- Identifying and analyzing customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
- Preparing periodic reports on account results and status to the president
- Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Chemistry, Mining Engineering, Geochemistry, Geology, or Business
- Minimum of 3-5 years of Sales experience in mining sector
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent sales and negotiation skills
- Thorough understanding of technical or scientific services to be sold
- Organized with attention to detail
- Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
- Ability to travel to meet with clients or potential clients on occasion
