What You Will Be Doing:

• Developing and maintaining relationships with potential and existing clients in the mining sector
• Identifying and locating new clients through networking and cold calls
• Implementing sales strategies in mining regions across North America
• Matching Skyline to the needs of clients by applying knowledge of the field
• Providing information, quotes, credit terms, and other bid information to clients
• Negotiating prices and/or service agreements, preparing contracts and submitting orders
• Collaborating with other staff to ensure accuracy and efficiency in processing orders
• Resolving customer complaints and any other issues that may interfere with sales operations
• Identifying and analyzing customer preferences to properly direct sales efforts
• Preparing periodic reports on account results and status to the president

• Bachelor's degree in Inorganic Chemistry, Mining Engineering, Geochemistry, Geology, or Business
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Sales experience in mining sector
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent sales and negotiation skills
• Thorough understanding of technical or scientific services to be sold
• Organized with attention to detail
• Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Ability to travel to meet with clients or potential clients on occasion
