    Part Time Accounting Clerk- Baltimore, MD (Remote after training)

    About the Company and Part Time Accounting Clerk Opportunity:

    • Our new client is a small organization in higher education. Due to growth, they are looking to welcome a part timeAccounting Clerk to assist with day to day accounting duties on a part time contractual basis
      • Potential for a permanent placement depending on performance and fit
    • Schedule: 100% remote after short training period in office in Baltimore city
      • Candidates must be local and able to commute to the Baltimore area
      • Work any time between 9am-5pm, 4 hours per day, 15 hours per week to start
      • The Accounting Clerk position is expected to gain more hours and turn into a full time opportunity. Candidates should be open to part time and full time work.

    Job Duties of the Part Time Accounting Clerk:

    • Perform accounts payable duties
    • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Process a high volume of expense reports
    • Assist Director of Finance with month and quarter end
    • Handle miscellaneous admin duties and perform data entry
    • Ad hoc duties as needed

    Qualifications for the Part Time Accounting Clerk:

    • 2+ years experience with AP, expense reporting, data entry, and bank/credit card recs required
    • Experience using QuickBooks Desktop preferred
    • Proficiency with Excel required
    • Attention to detail, positive attitude, self starter, proactive, problem solver
    • Must be able to pass a background check
