- Our new client is a small organization in higher education. Due to growth, they are looking to welcome a part timeAccounting Clerk to assist with day to day accounting duties on a part time contractual basis
- Potential for a permanent placement depending on performance and fit
- Schedule: 100% remote after short training period in office in Baltimore city
- Candidates must be local and able to commute to the Baltimore area
- Work any time between 9am-5pm, 4 hours per day, 15 hours per week to start
- The Accounting Clerk position is expected to gain more hours and turn into a full time opportunity. Candidates should be open to part time and full time work.
- Perform accounts payable duties
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Process a high volume of expense reports
- Assist Director of Finance with month and quarter end
- Handle miscellaneous admin duties and perform data entry
- Ad hoc duties as needed
- 2+ years experience with AP, expense reporting, data entry, and bank/credit card recs required
- Experience using QuickBooks Desktop preferred
- Proficiency with Excel required
- Attention to detail, positive attitude, self starter, proactive, problem solver
- Must be able to pass a background check
