- Records patient vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication changes.
- Stock exam/treatment rooms and orders supplies.
- Obtain blood specimens.
- Surgery Scheduling
- Answers phone calls for referrals
- Schedule patient tests, procedures and hospital admissions.
- Schedules appointments to follow-up on receipt of test results.
- Performs administrative duties, typing, filing, faxing, reception.
- High School Diploma/GED
- At least 2+ years of back office medical assistant experience
- OBGYN experience is a must for this role
- Active medical assistant certification/registration
