    iWorld Professionals is seeking to hire multiple Construction Superintendents for our client a growing national construction company with locations across the northeastern US.     Construction Superintendent Position Summary: We are currently looking for a dedicated Construction Superintendent to join our client's dynamic team. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment, enjoy leading and coordinating the work of 20-40 company associates and subcontractors, and have a passion for delivering high-quality construction projects, this is the opportunity for you.

    Construction Superintendent Responsibilities:

    As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of construction projects. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

    • Strategic Project Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, providing regular updates and ensuring accurate reports that vividly depict project status.
    • Field Coordination: Take charge of timely and cost-effective field coordination, exercising quality control, and providing day-to-day supervision of subcontracted workforces for construction projects.
    • Communication and Collaboration: Foster effective communication by regularly reviewing project progress with the Project Manager and client representatives. Analyze and coordinate manpower, material, and equipment requirements, interfacing seamlessly with other team members.
    • Commercial Fit-Out Expertise: Direct subcontractor activities within commercial fit-outs for interior projects, ensuring seamless execution and adherence to project specifications.
    • Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce established policies, procedures, and work rules defined by field construction management.
    • Reporting and Forecasting: Prepare comprehensive reports and forecasts, keeping supervisors well-informed on the progress of overall assigned activities.

    Construction Superintendent Requirements:

    • Minimum of 5 years of comparable work experience
    • 3 plus years of direct supervision of employees and subcontractors
    • Ability to work onsite in central New Jersey and travel to various site locations across the state.
    • Valid US driver's license
    • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate the buildout and/or renovations of new sites with limited disruption to business operations.
    • Proficiency in reviewing blueprints, plans, and schematics that meet building specs and applicable regulatory codes.
    • Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills
    • Ability to work well and communicate effectively across a diverse team of construction and non-construction management team members to provide routine project updates and status reports.
    • Ability to work in northern Massachusetts, New Hampshire region on-site and remote.
