Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for our CVICU department. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of open heart ICU experience, including ventilator management. This role requires the ability to float between three facilities within a 20-mile radius.

Responsibilities

Manage a diverse patient population in a critical care setting.
Utilize skills in hemodynamics, ventilator management, and post-heart recovery.
Maintain proficiency in the use of specialized equipment such as Swans, IABP, and Impella.
Complete time-sensitive modules and training as per facility requirements.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

1-2 years of open heart ICU experience with ventilator management.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required at the time of submission.
NIHSS certification to be obtained before the start date.
Experience with EPIC charting system is preferred.
Must be nicotine-free; negative 10-panel drug screen required.
