    Supply Chain Coordinator

    The Supply Chain Coordinator (SCC) plays a vital role within the Logistics as a Service (LaaS) department at e2open. This position focuses on managing transportation needs to ensure seamless supply chain operations for our diverse portfolio of clients.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Deliver comprehensive logistics services that cover the entire supply chain operation for our customers, including:
    • Understanding customer business requirements to effectively build and plan loads (e.g., mode selection, multi-stop ordering).
    • Selecting and routing tenders to carriers as per established routing guides.
    • Ensuring coverage for all loads ahead of critical milestones.
    • Managing appointment scheduling to maximize service quality while minimizing costs.
    • Tracking load execution against key milestones to:
      • Identify potential risks to successful delivery.
      • Provide solutions to known risks.
      • Keep relevant stakeholders updated on delivery statuses.
    • Proactively engage with carriers to ensure they have the necessary information for efficient transportation, minimizing delays.
    • Review and manage accessorial charge requests in accordance with customer-specific standard operating procedures (SOPs).
    • Evaluate, approve, or reconcile costs associated with specific shipments.
    • Troubleshoot issues and recommend solutions to enhance customer operations.
    • Analyze service and cost factors to make informed decisions when building efficient load sequences and managing exceptions.
    • Negotiate freight rates and maintain compliance with budgeted costs.
    • Monitor and recommend improvements for KPIs, including on-time performance, tender acceptance, and routing guide compliance.
    • Build and maintain successful relationships with customers as a trusted advisor throughout their organization.
    • Participate in after-hours support and holiday coverage as needed according to account requirements.
    • Complete additional tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field, or 2+ years of relevant experience.
    • Familiarity with supply chain management software (e.g., e2open, JDA, SAP, Oracle, Mercury Gate, Pinc) is preferred.
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Experience in customer-facing roles and supplier management is highly desirable.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others positively.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to present viable recommendations.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Typical office environment with extensive computer use involving prolonged monitor viewing and keyboarding.
    • Frequent phone communications.
    • Occasional movement and lifting of objects weighing up to 20 pounds.
    • Potential for 5% travel or more if required.
    • Fluency in English, Spanish, and/or French is a plus.
