Our client, a leading biopharmaceutical company, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Research Associate to join their Translational Medicine department in South San Francisco, CA. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of development-stage products aimed at addressing unmet medical needs.

Pay Rate: $40-$53/hr

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical programs to support translational efforts, focusing on the identification and validation of novel mechanisms of drug action, response, and resistance.
• Provide cross-functional exposure and contribute to projects spanning various departments.
• Work closely with scientists in both the laboratory and clinical teams to execute key experiments and drive scientific progress.
• Assist in the analysis of data and slides generated from experiments, contributing to the interpretation of results.
• Attend key meetings to present findings, exchange insights, and contribute to strategic discussions.
• Participate in drug discovery activities, leveraging your laboratory expertise to support research initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant scientific field with 4 years of relevant experience.
• Experienced with cell biology techniques including in vitro cellular assays.
• Experienced with DNA/RNA extraction, western blotting, cell proliferation assays, flow cytometry, ELISA, etcs.
• Proficiency in experimental techniques and data analysis.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Prior experience in drug discovery is preferred but not required.
