Podiatrist - Nursing Home Specialist

Location: St. Louis, MO

Position Type: Full-Time (5 days a week)

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM (1-hour lunch break)

Note: We are open to considering locum tenens podiatrists for both positions with immediate availability.

- Job Description:

As a Podiatrist specializing in nursing home care, you will provide comprehensive foot and ankle care to residents in various nursing homes in the St. Louis area.

Diagnose and treat various podiatric conditions, including but not limited to, wound care, diabetic foot care, infections, and musculoskeletal issues.

Collaborate with nursing home staff to develop and implement treatment plans tailored to each patient's needs.

Maintain accurate medical records and documentation of patient care.

- Qualifications:

Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.

Active and unrestricted podiatry license in the state of Missouri.

Prior experience in nursing home or long-term care podiatry is preferred but not required.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
