Job Summary And Qualifications
Under general supervision, provides intake and referral services to the Behavioral Health Department programs, including but not limited to phone, face-to-face and emergency assessments and insurance/payment verification and authorization.
Qualifications:
Masters degree in Behavioral Health Related Field or current California RN license required.
State of California License in:
Registered Nurse (RN), Marriage and Family Counseling, (LMFT), Social work (LCSW), Professional Counselor (LPCC) or Clinical Psychology (Ph.
D, Psy.
D.).
Current Basic Cardiac Life Support required
Minimum of two (2) years experience in a behavioral health field
Ability to learn and utilize computerized patient care management system
Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions. Must effectively read, write and verbally communicate in the English language.
