    Job Summary

    Aircraft Maintenance Technician required to perform maintenance tasks and complete paperwork to ensure aircraft safety in a timely manner.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Utilize FAA-approved data, including IPC, MM, OHM, and SRM, proficiently.
    • Follow maintenance lead for efficient performance of assigned duties.
    • Evaluate maintenance tasks based on safety as the primary factor, adhering to FAA regulations and company requirements prior to approval for return to service.
    • Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance performed in accordance with FAA regulations and company policies/procedures.
    • Avoid performing maintenance on aircraft, powerplants, or airframes outside of qualified expertise.
    • Maintain facilities, aircraft, ground support equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner, adhering to company standards.
    • Complete maintenance records entries properly and submit them in a timely manner, adhering to FAA requirements and applicable company policies/procedures.

    Requirements

    • Ability to work independently.
    • Strong communication skills.
    • Proficiency in English language, read, write, and speak.

    Physical Demands

    • Assist in moving aircraft and equipment in/out of hangars.
    • Perform basic shop upkeep (sweeping, mopping, cleaning, etc.).
    • Lift/move items up to 50lbs.
    • Stand/sit/bend/crouch/kneel/walk for extended periods.
    • Work at heights using ladders, work stands, etc.
    • Work with hands extended overhead.
    • Withstand various weather conditions.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Minimum 3 years related experience/training.
    • A&P License issued by the FAA required.
    • Basic computer skills necessary.
    • Eligibility to work in the U.S. required.
    • Valid Driver's license required.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • 5+ years aircraft maintenance experience or similar mechanical experience.
    • Familiarity with FAR and aviation standards.

    Benefits

    • Starting pay: $25.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
    • $1,500 one-time sign-on bonus, payable in increments of $500 after completing 30/60/90 days of employment.
    • Company-sponsored benefit plans, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and 401k retirement plan.
    • 6 paid holidays per year and accrual of Paid Time Off (PTO) each month.
    • Additional benefits for A&P Mechanics, including IA licensure achievement bonus and eligibility for PEA's Up-Lift Program.
