    Description
    Summary
    Our manufacturing client is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their team. The Senior Accountant position is open because of growth.

    The Senior Accountant will be responsible for month end and year end close and ensuring the business maintains compliance with regard to federal and state taxes as well as other regulatory financial requirements.

    Responsibilities
    Lead and execute month-end and year-end closing procedures, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting.
    Reconcile GL accounts, identifying and addressing discrepancies and variances.
    Develop and maintain internal controls and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and company policies, and accounting standards
    Collaborate with internal and external auditors
    Identify and implement improvements to financial processes and controls
    Requirements
    Bachelor's degree in accounting
    4 + years of month end close experience
    Must reside in Atlanta
