- Knowledge of statistical programming languages including R & Python
- Database query languages including SQL and Hive
- Familiarity with Java and C++.
- Applied statistical skills, including knowledge of statistical tests, distributions, regression, maximum likelihood estimators, etc.
- Knowledge of machine learning methods like k-Nearest Neighbors, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests.
- Familiarity with cloud computing and containerization. Hands-on experience with data science tools and a Problem-solving aptitude.
- Experience working with structured, unstructured, or semi-structured data
- Experience cleansing data for data science applications Experience programming/coding mathematical models Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle, testing, and version control Experience with data visualization tools and best practices Ability to quickly learn new skillsets to solve challenging problems
- Experience using and deploying machine learning algorithms, including natural language processing (NLP)
- 3+ years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Analytics, or Information Management
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field

FOR IMMEDIATE HIRE SE2S is seeking a Data Scientist to support our Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning efforts,
which include building and operating a build Machine Learning/ Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI)
enterprise. This project supports command decisions regarding operations, best practices, and
intelligence through analysis of traits, trends, open-source data, optimization models using machine
learning and artificial intelligence. The selected candidate will support SE2S in developing a robust
analytics program that addresses how the USASOC can best utilize the data receiving and optimize
their systems to utilize that data in a timely fashion
Job responsibilities include:
Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility
requirements for access to classified information.
