    Description

    We are looking for a dedicated individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Manager. As part of our company, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the production of safe and high-quality products, adhering to both corporate and government standards.



    Responsibilities:

    • Provide leadership in food safety and product quality
    • Act as a liaison for governmental inspections
    • Conduct and participate in regulatory compliance inspections and audits
    • Oversee plant sanitation processes and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)
    • Support quality initiatives and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
    • Monitor and maintain specifications for food safety programs
    • Train and resource Quality Assurance staff
    • Ensure accurate record-keeping and compliance with regulations
    • Investigate consumer feedback and collaborate on action plans
    • Provide assistance in product development and audits
    • Support continuous improvement efforts
    • Provide feedback to suppliers to enhance relationships and resolve quality issues

    Qualifications:


    Minimum
    • Bachelor's Degree in food science or related field
    • 5+ years of quality assurance lab experience
    • Certification as a Preventive Control Qualified Individual
    • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
    • Ability to apply statistical process control concepts
    Desired
    • Thorough understanding of food safety and microbiological concepts
    • Experience as a Plant QA Assistant Manager
