    Project Controls Specialist

    with experience in leading cost controls for CapEx projects within a pharmaceutical or biotechnology manufacturing environment.

    Project Controls Specialist Responsibilities:


    Review project scope, strategy, and deliverables with client groups and other stakeholders to execute project tasks associated with small and large capital projects in a cGMP environment.

    Provide tracking and forecasting of project spending to budget.
    Utilize appropriate tools to track purchase orders, invoices, payments and cost estimates.
    Assist as required in qualifying and processing project purchase orders
    Ensure all procurement procedures are followed, including competitive bidding.
    Monitor, approve, and track cost invoices from vendors and contractors.
    Assist as needed in expediting services for equipment and material.
    Maintain consistent communication with the project manager concerning project finances.
    Collect and analyze data and make recommendations on resource planning to clients on the overall Capital Investment Program.
    Participate in the development of project cost estimates for engineering projects.
    Support monthly financial projections by analyzing subconsultant and client labor.
    Research and analyze data and prepare reports and documents for management.

    You will have:
    Minimum 5 years of project cost controls experience
    Minimum Associate's Degree, Bachelor's Degree preferred
    Specific skills associated with project controls, finance, and procurement.
    Good documentation practices
    Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
    Proven track record of being self-motivated and capable of working in diverse team situations with Company clients.

    Desired Skills:
    Project controls experience with pharmaceutical engineering CapEx projects.
