Job Details / Responsibilities
Assist in developing and implementing personalized patient care programs, policies, and procedures
Act as key liaison between administration, nursing management, and staff to ensure smooth operations
Supervise nursing care, treatments, and services during assigned night shifts or on specific units
Monitor and manage staff performance, providing on-the-spot feedback, conducting annual evaluations, and handling performance counseling or discipline as needed
Assume direct patient care responsibilities when required and build meaningful relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs for successful rehabilitation
Celebrate patient milestones and victories throughout their recovery process
Ensure seamless implementation of procedures while delivering high-quality, compassionate, and individualized care
Qualifications
Current RN licensure as required by state regulations
BLS certification required; ACLS certification to be obtained within one year of start
CRRN certification to be obtained within one year of meeting eligibility requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or related field preferred
Two years of recent experience in an inpatient hospital setting (within the last five years)
Previous leadership experience (e.g., charge nurse or lead role) with responsibilities including interim reporting, issue resolution, setting direction, and accountability for patient and staff outcomes
