Job Summary:

SpringHill Suites Cheraw is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to join our dedicated and hardworking team in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's guest rooms and public areas.

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a passion for providing exceptional hospitality services.

This individual will report to the Housekeeping Manager and will be responsible for ensuring that our guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.

Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time hourly position with a competitive salary of $11 to $12 per hour, paid biweekly.

Responsibilities:

• Clean and restock hotel guest rooms and suites in accordance with established standards and checklists
• Change linens, make beds, wash and fold towels and other linens, and vacuum carpets and rugs
• Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and decorative items in guest rooms and public areas
• Clean and disinfect bathroom fixtures and replenish bathroom supplies
• Report any maintenance or repair issues to the Housekeeping Manager
• Collaborate with other housekeeping team members to ensure efficient completion of tasks
• Maintain confidentiality and security of guests' personal information and belongings
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols to prevent accidents and promote overall cleanliness and hygiene
• Handle guests' requests for additional items such as extra towels or pillows in a timely and friendly manner
• Assist with laundry and other housekeeping tasks as needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Prior experience in housekeeping or general cleaning is preferred
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving abilities
• Ability to effectively communicate in English, both verbally and in writing
• Basic knowledge of cleaning products and equipment
• Physically capable of standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods of time
• Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
