    Director of Quality Assurance

    This role leads quality assurance, compliance, and training oversight across the Behavioral Health Department. It ensures behavioral health programs maintain high standards of service quality, regulatory compliance, and effectiveness.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Hiring, Onboarding & Training Oversight: Develop hiring and onboarding workflows with HR; ensure structured, trauma-informed onboarding; supervise the Training & Staff Development Specialist and oversee ongoing staff training and CBHI/internal compliance.
    • Quality Assurance & Performance Monitoring: Design a data-driven QA system to monitor service quality, staff performance, and client outcomes; define key indicators and track progress using the Credible EHR; supervise Quality Coordinators on audits, satisfaction data, and improvement plans; lead Family Satisfaction Surveys and the monthly Quality Management Council; support Program Directors with data-informed enhancements; conduct investigations into major quality concerns; assist with utilization reviews and record audits tied to CBHI/state compliance.
    • Health Clinic Licensing & Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with licensing and payer regulations (e.g., DPH, Managed Care Entities, commercial insurers); develop/maintain clinic policies and procedures aligned with regulatory expectations; manage a compliance calendar and timely submissions; serve as liaison with regulatory bodies (e.g., Massachusetts DPH) to coordinate inspections and responses.

    The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Public Health, Psychology, Human Services, Health Administration, or related field. They should also have 5+ years of experience in behavioral health or human services, including 2+ years in a leadership, compliance, or QA role. In-depth knowledge of DPH licensing and behavioral health regulatory requirements is necessary.
