    Overview:

    Mad City Windows and Baths is looking for an Human Resources Manager to join our growing Human Resources team in Madison

    The HR Manager administers and delegates the activities relating to employee relations, onboarding, unemployment, workers comp, and organizational structure.

    Essential Functions:

    • Manages day to day operations of Human Resources team for all employees
    • Explains company personnel policies and procedures to employees and managers
    • Examines employee files to answer inquiries and provide information for personnel actions
    • Assists the HR Director with low-medium level employee issues
    • Provides information to authorized persons and organizations, such as credit bureaus and finance companies, in compliance with Mad City confidentiality practices and HIPAA regulations
    • Develops and/or maintains descriptions for all new jobs, reviewing and update job descriptions as needed
    • Assists and supports HR Assistant Managers with Onboarding, employee concerns and backlog as needed
    • Create reports for executive staff including but not limited to headcount reporting, turnover reporting, OT reporting, etc
    • Administer HR files and collect HR information as required
    • Assist with Unemployment claims, paperwork, and hearings
    • Maintains the confidentiality of the HR department regarding employee disclosures and issues
    • Manages the HR regional team members and specific support staff
    • Any and all other duties as assigned

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree or Higher
    • 5+ years or more of Human Resource experience
    • Must have a high level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
    • Strong understanding of Human Resources processes and terminology, payroll and benefit processes and procedures, including eligibility and enrollment rules and benefit procedures
    • Demonstrates exceptional analytical skills and ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
    • Possess strong written and verbal communications skills
    • Possess strong organizational skills and ability to complete multiple tasks and high volume of work on deadlines
    • Strong attention to detail and ability to edit and proofread
    • Possess a creative outlook with a problem-solving attitude
    • Excellent time management, organizational, and follow-through skills
    • Has shown ability to respond quickly and accurately to requests for data, ability to provide excellent customer service a must
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Manager of Human Resource
