Job Description

As a Security Officer - Clearance Required Driver in Mc Lean, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to clients, guests, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting actions taken and reporting findings to site leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols of offices, data and equipment areas, and the exterior perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
Monitor access control points, verify identification and/or credentials, manage visitor check-in, and coordinate with onsite personnel regarding authorized access.
Complete accurate shift reports, incident reports, and daily activity logs, and communicate timely updates to Allied Universal leadership and onsite contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Military/Security Experience OR a College Degree is required.
Supervisory Experience is required.
Active DoD Secret Clearance is required.
21+ Years of Age is required.
A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
