Glocomms is partnered with an industry-leading media platform seeking to bring on a talented and experienced Senior Security Engineer to join its growing Payments technology team.

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field, along with 5-7 years of proven experience in a security engineering role, preferably in FinTech and/or the payment industry.

The Senior Security Engineer should possess strong knowledge of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorization, as well as hands-on experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protection.

Key Responsibilities:
Design, implement, and maintain security solutions to protect the company's infrastructure and dataMonitor and analyze security events using SIEM tools to detect and respond to threatsDevelop and maintain security policies, procedures, and standardsConduct security assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate vulnerabilitiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to implement security best practicesProvide technical guidance and support to junior members of the security team

Basic Qualifications:
Qualifications:B.S. or advanced degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.

Demonstrate 5-7 years of successful experience in security engineering, with a preference for candidates who have worked in the payment industryExhibit a deep understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, and authorizationHave practical experience with security technologies and tools, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and endpoint protectionPossess strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesCandidates must be willing to work on-site at the company's flagship office in San Jose, CA.
