- Contribute to decision-making, teaching, leadership, and quality improvement activities within the nephrology healthcare team
- Coordinate patient care, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for a designated group of hemodialysis patients
- Provide ongoing education to patients and their families
- Administer medications as prescribed and document medical justifications
- Respond to emergencies and ensure proper laboratory procedures are followed
- Collaborate with the Interdisciplinary Team on patient care plans
- Coordinate referrals to Social Worker and Registered Dietitian as needed
- Complete CAP requirements for program advancement
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Current state licensure
- CPR BLS Certification or successful completion
- Must meet state practice requirements

- Previous experience as a Registered Nurse (preferred)
- Experience in chronic/acute hemodialysis (preferred)
- Passing score on the Ishihara Color Blind Test
