    This position is responsible for operation and understanding of layout equipment and readings to measure, lay out, and verify dimensions against blueprints and 3-D models.

    Will do first Article Inspections & use

    CMM Machine

    on a daily basis.


    Duties & Responsibilities include:
    Working knowledge of GD&T principles and techniques.

    Ability to read and interpret blueprints utilizing geometric tolerances.

    Inspects and measures forgings, lays out reference points, and verifies dimensions to drawings.

    Operate measurement equipment and maintain documentation record including CMM and laser scanning.

    Working knowledge with Faro Arm and related software.

    Inspects rejected forgings for root cause analysis.

    Assists with first article preparations (AS9102) and PPAP's.

    Analyze results and communicate findings.


    Position Requirements:
    High School Diploma or equivalent, one-year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience

    Adequate computer skills, including experience with Microsoft Office applications.

    Ability to read, analyze, and interpret operating instructions, work instructions, and customer procedures.

    Positive professional attitude.
