- Process claims for medical, dental, vision, and prescription services for clients.
- Handle complex claim issues by identifying root causes.
- Analyze insurance EOB's to maximize cost savings.
- Request additional information for incomplete claims and follow up with providers.
- Manage insurance enrollments and government benefits.
- Maintain a database with information on insurance coverage.
- Supervise Claims Examiners in the absence of higher management.
- Audit claims processed by team members.
- Assist in various unit initiatives as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college is a plus.
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in medical claims processing.
- Knowledge of HIPAA guidelines, medical codes, and insurance plans.
- Strong leadership and communication skills; supervisory experience preferred.
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills.

Position Title: Sr. Claims Examiner
Job Summary: We're looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with at least three years of experience in medical claims processing for a full-time Senior Claims Examiner role. This position involves reviewing and processing medical, dental, vision, and prescription claims. It's a Temp to Permanent opportunity based in Ossining, NY, with work hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm.
