    Our dentistry department is looking to add a Dental Laboratory Technician to their dedicated team of caregivers.

    This is a unique role, as you will be working in a hospital setting with specialized clinicians and surgeons designing and fabricating custom intraoral appliances that restore patients' functionality.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform acrylic repairs.
    • Construct casts.
    • Construct bite mouth guards.
    • Construct dentures (waxing and set up).
    • Denture processing and finishing.
    • Fabricate X conversion implants.
    • Fabricate custom trays.
    • Perform digital design.
    • Perform prosthetic design.
    • Managing and tracking lab case status.
    • Maintains lab equipment and supplies.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED required.
    • Dental laboratory program completion.

    Languages:

    • English

    Certifications:

    • Certified dental technician from accredited dental laboratory technology program.

    Complexity of Work:

    • In depth knowledge of dental prostheses, devices, and related technologies.
    • Proficiency in digital and prosthetic design.
    • Highly analytical.
    • Excellent problem-solving ability.

    Work Experience:

    • Two years of dental lab technician experience.
    • Proficiency in dental laboratory computer-aided manufacturing (CAM) software, 3-D printing.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Dexterity sufficient to operate lab equipment.
    • Ability to work while standing the majority of workday.
    • 20/20 vision (uncorrected or corrected) to view minute details.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.
