- Maintain accurate and current case records for student(s) for the on-the-job training, monthly on-site evaluations, and annual IEP meetings with cams managing teacher, DRS counselor, etc.
- Work cooperatively with a group of paraprofessionals as well as several students.
- On-site visits with incoming seniors while working cooperatively with their case managing teacher (s), services providers such as GPTC & DRS, as well as attend IEP meetings.
- Minimum 48 college credits or paraprofessional certification required at the time application is filed.
- Assist teacher in the management of student arrival and departure activities.
- Provide the teacher with clerical assistance, organizing materials for distribution and recording information.
- Assist in the supervision of students and personal needs of students.
- Perform supportive tasks that are primarily non-instructional.
- Assist in individual goals with students.
- Maintain safety and welfare of students.
- To support learning experiences that will assist students in a successful return to the classroom setting.
- Attend and become certified at Foundations Training, GET (General
- Education Training), and Job Coach training by DDSD.
- Advocate for student(s) through employment, driver's license, banking, 1 DRS, Social Security Administration, etc.
- Evaluate and collaborate with on-site supervisors for DRS.
- Provide transportation on individual basis when necessary.
- Must have an Oklahoma driver's license, vehicle insurance verification & maintain mileage logs to turn in for reimbursement.
- Other duties as may be assigned.
