Position Summary:
The Carlinville Rural Health Clinic is looking for an Advanced Practice Nurse who, under the direction of the primary care physician, provides health maintenance as well as care to patients with common acute and chronic illness. The APRN is responsible for directing a patient's care that is comprehensive, continuous and coordinated. The APRN is also responsible for health assessments, early detection of illness, health promotion, and disease prevention. Collaboration with the patient's primary care/personal physician and referral to other health care providers, patient advocacy, teaching and family counseling are major components of this role.
Status: Full-Time; 40 hours per week; Exempt; Days
Education Requirements: Graduate of an accredited NP program
