    Opportunity:

    Radiology / Cardiology - Interventional Radiology

    Job Details:


    • Work four 10-hour shifts from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM with rotating days off

    • Occasional week of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM shifts

    • Daily caseload of 5-8 cases per technologist

    • On-call requirements: 1 weeknight every other week, 1-2 weekends within contract, 1 possible holiday

    • Minimum 1 year of experience required

    • Required case types: Vascular Access, Embolization, Dialysis work, PE Thrombectomy

    • Preferred case types: Y90 Implant, Chemo Embolization

    • Required certifications: ARRT (R), SCQRSA, BLS

    • Level 1 Trauma experience required

    • Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency

    • Navy scrubs provided by facility

    • Epic charting system

    • Parking fee: $20 one-time payment for nights and weekends

    • Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

    • Hurricane season emergency response team assignment may be required (June-November)

    • First-time travelers accepted

    • Flu vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only

    This major teaching hospital operates as a Level 1 Trauma center with 865 staffed beds, providing comprehensive medical services and advanced interventional radiology procedures. The facility maintains state-of-the-art equipment and technology to support complex vascular and interventional procedures, serving as a regional referral center for specialized care. The organization emphasizes excellence in patient care while providing educational opportunities for healthcare professionals.
