The Manager, Anatomic Pathology holds a pivotal role in the laboratory, serving as a certified and technical expert responsible for overseeing operational, administrative, and fiscal affairs.
Collaborating closely with the Executive Director and Division Chief/Medical Director, this role partners to address organizational goals into actionable strategies, directing day-to-day operations and technical functions.
This entails coordinating specimen processing, diagnostic procedures, and resource allocation while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery. With a keen focus on budgetary planning, this role optimizes fiscal resources and identifies cost-saving initiatives without compromising quality.Compliance with regulatory standards set by CAP, CLIA, the State of California, and the Joint Commission is paramount, necessitating vigilant oversight and continuous adherence to guidelines.
