    Overview

    Kimley-Horn, one of Fortune Magazine's "100 Best Companies to Work For," is looking for a Tax Analyst to join the corporate team in our Raleigh, NC office. This is NOT a remote position.

    Responsibilities

    • Assist with federal, state, and international income tax planning projects
    • Research and resolve notices received from various taxing jurisdictions
    • Coordinate with and gather information requested for income tax audits
    • Prepare various year-end tax calculations and support for annual tax provision
    • Assist with monthly tax projections and perform corporate tax account reconciliations
    • Assist with the preparation of international tax filings
    • Prepare and remit estimated tax payments

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA or CPA candidate OR
    • Associate's degree in accounting or related field with 3+ years of relevant experience
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
    • Excellent quantitative skills combined with an ability to interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations
    • High degree of professionalism and the ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization from new hires to senior executives
    • Exceptional client service mentality and strong work ethic
    • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements
    • Must be an excellent team player as well as work independently
    • Excellent organization, detail-orientation, and follow-through skills
