Job description -

The Director on Engineering will lead the departmentin all maintenance and renovation projects.

The ideal candidate will haveknowledge and experience maintaining aspects of a hotel such as; electrical,plumbing, wall repair, pools, and HVAC units.

Job responsibilities -Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems/safety hazards
Inspect hotel regularly to ensure safety standards are met
Works directly with HOA
Arrange for routine maintenance in hotel rooms, lobbies, and facilities
Complete work orders on time and within budget
Maintain budgets, expenses, and activity logs
Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Responds and coordinates responses to guest calls and emergency situations
Perform various maintenance repairs in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, drywall/ wallpaper, painting, building exteriors, and appliances
Lead maintenance department in order to manage competing priorities and deadlines
Interviews, trains, supervises,counsels, schedules and evaluates staff.

Requirements -•Available to worka flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Previousmanagerial experience in a similar position

Knowledgeof plumbing, electrical, sewer, wall repair, appliances, and HVAC systems

Highschool diploma or equivalent; degree from a vocational school or BSc/BA inFacility Management is preferred

CertifiedProfessional Maintenance Manager (CPMM) is a plus

ValidSC Driver's License
