    Control Systems Technician (VETERAN WANTED)

    About Us:

    We are actively seeking a skilled Control Systems Technician to join our dynamic team in Charlotte, NC. As a Control Systems Technician, you will play a vital role in ensuring the optimal performance of control systems for our cutting-edge material handling and automation solutions. Your primary focus will involve troubleshooting, maintaining, and enhancing control systems to meet stringent safety standards and operational requirements.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Control Systems Maintenance and Troubleshooting:
      • Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting on various control systems, including Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motors/Wiring configurations, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Computers, Electrical Schematics, Control Circuits, and Preventive/Predictive maintenance.
    2. PLC Control Maintenance:
      • Diagnose and address PLC Control level issues, with a specialization in Allen Bradley systems.
    3. Control Components Handling:
      • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and related equipment.
    4. Collaboration:
      • Cultivate positive relationships with colleagues across all organizational levels, fostering effective communication and teamwork.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven experience in Control Systems troubleshooting and programming.
    • Expertise in repairing control network components.
    • Proficiency in motor controls, including motor starters, variable frequency drives, DC drives, and standard electrical components.
    • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) programs and Human Machine Interface (HMI) components.
    • Hands-on experience and troubleshooting in industrial electrical settings.
    • Familiarity with a variety of conveyors and sortation systems.
    • Knowledge of AB RS LOGIX 5000 PLCs and PLC components.
    • Understanding of SCADA systems and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
