    Description

    Title:Loader OperatorJob Location:Louisville, KY * Performs a variety of tasks involving strenuous manual labor.

    Operate heavy machinery including but not limited to a wheel loader and dozer.

    Perform regular maintenance and repairs on the asphalt plants.

    Maintains a clean job site: picks up all tools and equipment and secures job site each day to eliminate potential hazards.

    Performs materials handling and storage.

    Loads and unloads trucks and hauls and hoists materials.

    Ensures that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. Brings problems to the attention of the foreman.

    Perform other duties as assigned. Regardless of other duties, has a responsibility to follow HALL Contracting of Kentuckys safety, and quality procedures.

    Comply with the companys drug and alcohol testing requirements

    Must be physically healthy to stand, bend, and walk for up to 10-12 hours a day

    **Work Environment**

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions at construction job sites. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud. This position is preformed outside weather conditions **Physical Demands**

    The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is required to use proper personal protection equipment. Use of sunscreen and long sleeves is recommended. **Benefits**
