- Developing and optimizing machine learning pipelines for data processing, model training, and inference.
- Integrating machine learning models into our platform to provide actionable insights for filmmakers
- Building NLP-centric data models to support our web application
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop customized machine learning solutions that meet the unique needs of our clients in the film industry.
- Working closely with frontend engineers to integrate machine learning-driven features into our web application, including dynamic data visualizations and interactive dashboards
- Optimizing existing models and pipelines for performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies, tools, and best practices in backend development and machine learning.
- Own decisions about technologies and frameworks to use
- Bachelors/MS in Computer Science, Statistics, related field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry experience in machine learning, with a focus on natural language processing (NLP) and text analysis.
- Proven track record of developing and deploying machine learning models for text data in production environments.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn.
- Knowledge of cloud computing platforms, particularly Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and experience with deploying ML models on cloud infrastructure.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences as well as interfacing with scientific and engineering leadership
- A passion for storytelling and filmmaking, with a deep understanding of the film industry and the challenges faced by filmmakers in today's digital landscape.
