Job Description:

• Provide professional occupational therapy including bioptic driving evaluation and behind-the-wheel training for qualified OVR consumers.
• Certified Driver Rehabilitation Specialist through Association for Driver Rehabilitation Specialists (ADED) preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer behind-the-wheel training and assistance for the Kentucky Class D operator's license exam, focusing on safe driving techniques.
• Prepare evaluation reports, communicate progress with VR counselors, and interpret medical reports.
• Review and interpret bioptic driving laws, making referrals for additional services as needed.

This role involves handling confidential information responsibly, ensuring data security at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• EDUCATION: Graduate of a college or university with a Master's Degree in occupational therapy.
• EXPERIENCE, TRAINING, OR SKILLS: NONE
• SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be licensed or license eligible by the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Board.
