    Our Connecticut division, located in Shelton, CT, seeks a CNC Operator for the 2nd Shift; 3:30 pm - 12 am M-F (no weekends).

    Summary

    The CNC Setup Operator is responsible for set ups, adjustments, preventative maintenance and operation of computerized numerically controlled (CNC) machines. The successful candidate will be committed to the highest level of integrity, trust and responsibility and bring a hands-on approach to day to day operations.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    • Set up and operate computerized numerically controlled (CNC) machines.
    • Change cutters when tools are dull.
    • Inform Manager of machine and production problems.
    • Perform part inspection checks.
    • Attend training activities, as required.
    • Participate in continual improvement teams, as required.
    • Participate in safety and OSHA training.
    • Keep work area clean and tidy at all times.
    • Work in an organized manner with attention to details.

    Qualifications, Education and Experience

    • Graduation from high school or receipt of equivalent degree (GED).
    • Three years of experience working with CNC machines or certification from a trade school.
