- Lead as a Data Engineer Player Coach to enhance data capabilities and revamp our platform.
- Ensure seamless integration of core data components with our enterprise-wide Universal ID initiative (UID) and Unified Customer Profile (UCP).
- Utilize various cloud-native (AWS) technologies to create innovative frameworks and tools for efficient data management.
- Reverse engineer current on-premises data capabilities and facilitate migration to the cloud.
- Manage a team of engineers, focusing on skill development, performance, and overall management.
- Play a crucial role in delivering outstanding customer experiences in the financial services sector.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technology-related field.
- Proven experience as a Technical Lead, revamping legacy data products and implementing new solutions.
- Skilled in managing engineers, fostering skill development, and mitigating risks.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in global, Agile teams.
- Desire and aptitude to learn and adopt new technologies.
- Hands-on experience in building scalable, resilient data products (especially on AWS).
- Proficiency in developing complex SQL statements, PL/SQL, and languages like Python, Java, and Unix.
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD Pipelines using tools like Git, Maven, Jenkins, etc.
- Knowledge of various databases including Relational, NoSQL, Distributed, and Graph databases.
- Understanding of Data modeling and ETL/ELT concepts/tools.
- Experience with Kafka Streaming/Messaging Technologies.
- Familiarity with Java, RESTApi, JDBC connections, and troubleshooting for data pipelines.
- Ability to validate, monitor, and resolve issues throughout development and production stages.
- Preferred expertise in AWS with relevant certifications.
