Duties and Responsibilities
The Division of Cardiology at Loyola University Chicago (LUC) Stritch School of Medicine announces its search for a general (non-invasive) cardiologist.
This is an opportunity to join a collegial practice with excellent growth potential. Board-certified or board-eligible candidates who have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship training program in cardiovascular diseases will be considered. This is a non-invasive and non-imaging general cardiology position. Experience and interest in acute care cardiology, including cardiac critical care, is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have achieved the rank of associate professor.A highly competitive benefits package including institutional malpractice coverage and salary commensurate with experience and time in rank is available.
Clinical and basic science research opportunities, as well as educational opportunities in our fellowship, residency and medical student training programs exist.
Loyola University Medical Center (LUMC) is a 547-licensed-bed quaternary hospital in Maywood, Illinois that includes the William G. & Mary A.Ryan Center for Heart & Vascular Medicine, the Cardinal Bernardin Cancer Center, a Level 1 trauma center, Illinois's largest burn center, a certified comprehensive stroke center and a children's hospital.
Loyola also trains the next generation of caregivers through its academic affiliation with Loyola University Chicago's Stritch School of Medicine and the Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing.
