- Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation pertaining to assigned tasks
- Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate senior level HR staff or management
- Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files and records during the documentation filing process
- Assists with new hire orientation and onboarding processes as needed
- Assists with planning and execution of employee engagement events
- Evaluate and screen resumes; using recruiting tools to assess candidates' skills
- Conduct phone screenings and setting up interviews with management
- Other duties as assigned
- Basic knowledge of employment laws/regulations, specifically tied to recruiting practices
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, with strong ethical mindset
- Strong organization skills, with ability to multitask and work quickly despite distractions
- Ability to interact with professionalism with all levels in a company
- Good MS Office, Excel skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Research minded toward best practice
- Action-oriented, drive for results
- Bilingual in Spanish is highly desired
- HS Diploma required
- One year of administrative support work preferred
- Fluency with MS Office/365, Outlook, and Excel is required
- Prior experience working with HR systems highly desired (UltiPro, ADP, etc.)
