Job DescriptionQualificationa) PMP Certification
b) Minimum of 3 years' experience providing IV&V services to public sector entity(s) through the
implementation of an information technology project.
c) Knowledge of State procurement and contract monitoring requirements
d) Experience performing IV&V assessments.
e) Experience participating in the deliverable management process.
f) Experience monitoring contracts for successful delivery of contractual terms.
g) Experience with industry standard best practices and methodologies in risk and issue analysis and
management.
h) Knowledge of project management industry standards.
i) Knowledge of State project management standards and governance structures.
j) Knowledge of Rule 60GG-1, F.A.C., Florida Information Technology Project Management and
Oversight Standards
k) Strong communication (verbal and written) skills and experience communicating with multiple levels
of Department staff, from leadership (e.g., CIO) to technical and functional staff, as well as with
external stakeholders.
l) Experience in the use of Microsoft Office suite, SharePoint, and Visio.

The personnel qualifications preferred by the Department are as follows:
a) Minimum of five (5) years' experience providing IV&V services to public sector entities through the
implementation of an information technology project.
b) Experience working with the State of Florida or with other state governments similar in size in terms
of annual budget and full-time equivalent (FTE) employee count.
c) Experience with software development test plans and other documentation.
d) Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
