Support development and review of the full range of documentation and products required by DoDI
Assist with execution of the USAF Airworthiness process per MIL-HDBK-516 and the AF Life-Cycle Systems Engineering (LCSE) and Operational Safety, Suitability, and Effectiveness (OSS&E) processes as prescribed by AFMCI
Support implementation of Air Force Integrity Programs.
Support requirements development, allocation, and verification.
Support review and evaluation of weapon system design, analyses, and verification documentation and reports.
Gather and develop technical and business data necessary to build and, as required, present program briefs.
Analyze equipment and software performance deficiencies and make recommendations for corrective actions.
Support development of contract and documentation changes and updates.
Design, develop, integrate and test Computer Systems & Software, to ensure adequate performance, safety, integrity, and airworthiness.
QUALIFICATIONS:
ABET-accredited Bachelor's degree
in engineering and 10 years of relevant DoD experience.
Two (2) years must be in a special access DoD acquisition program as a sub-system lead engineer within a recognized ACAT I program.
Minimum of five (5) years of relevant DoD Avionics experience (1 year must be within a recognized ACAT I, or equivalent, Special Access Program.)
Technical experience desired in the areas of:
Software and computer system architectures
Software and systems integration processes
Fault tolerance, redundancy management, and high integrity design techniques
Computer system hardware and software criticality identification
Safety Critical Function (SCF) thread analysis
Verification techniques for software, hardware and system integration, developing/maintaining System Integration Laboratory (SIL) facilities with high fidelity test capabilities to V&V software and hardware
System integration verification coverage
Operational Flight Program (OFP) build, load, and flight release process; and the functional compatibility of all software and hardware.
Must
obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
Must
be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Applications, and other standard (Customer specified) applications.
