- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger accounts.
- Record journal entries for routine transactions.
- Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Generate and send customer invoices accurately and on time.
- Assist with monitoring accounts receivable aging and following up on overdue payments.
- Expense Reimbursement:
- Process employee expense reports and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Verify expense receipts and documentation.
- Reconcile employee advances and expense reimbursements.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist with the preparation of monthly financial statements.
- Prepare supporting schedules and analyses for financial reports.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Audit Support:
- Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
- Provide supporting documentation and explanations to auditors.
- Implement audit recommendations and process improvements.
- Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Stay updated with relevant accounting regulations and best practices.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Experience: Entry-level position; internships or relevant work experience preferred but not required.
