The League School for Autism is seeking a Head Teacher for their Moderate Special Needs program in Walpole MA The ideal candidate will have experience working with autistic individuals and hold a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education The role involves developing Individual Education Programs collaborating with team members collecting data on student performance implementing treatment programs providing curriculum content attending meetings and completing written reports++
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with team to develop Individual Education Programs within the classroom/school and community settings Utilizes internet-based ESPED program in conjunction with team to write IEPs
- Collects and records data regarding student performance in all skill areas as directed by team Education Coordinator or Director of Clinical Services Analyzes data to measure student progress throughout the year
- Consistently implements or monitors implementation of all components of treatment programs including all accommodations services outlined in students' IEPs BIPs etc
