How you'll make an impact in this role

• Prepare the surgical suite by organizing both sterile and non-sterile instruments and supplies to facilitate the safe and efficient performance of every procedure.

• Support the surgical team by providing required instruments and supplies to the surgeon and assisting with hemostasis to ensure the procedure progresses smoothly.

• Care for the patient throughout the operative journey by assisting with preparation, transport, positioning, and draping to maintain safety and dignity.

• Guarantee procedural accuracy by keeping instruments organized and conducting rigorous counts of all supplies and tools to monitor the field at all times.

What minimum requirements you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's
  degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

What additional preferences we're seeking

• Experienced Surgical Technologist with previous CVOR experience.
