    We are looking for a senior structural engineer for an integrated design firm with a promise to elevate the human experience through design.     Position Summary

    As a Senior Structural Engineer and team leader at their Northern California offices, you'll oversee the design of structural systems for buildings across various sectors, including K-12, Higher Education, Justice & Civic, Cultural and Performing Arts, and Mixed Use. Your role involves leading a team of structural engineers to create top-notch construction documents using Revit, ensuring project schedules align with deliverable requirements. Working within an integrated design team, you'll collaborate closely with other disciplines to achieve highly cohesive building designs. Additionally, you'll directly support the regional discipline leader in developing work plans, project schedules, budgets, and proposals for both internal teams and external clients.

    Required Qualifications include

    • Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural/Architectural Engineering; Masters degree preferred.
    • 10+ years of building related structural engineering experience, including the design of concrete, masonry, steel and wood/timber; gravity and lateral systems.
    • Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the State of California, Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) preferred
    • Prior experience leading teams of engineers on projects.
    • Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc).
    • Experience with BIM including Autodesk Revit workflow.
